"One Family, One Future"
Willie Preston was born and raised in Englewood on Chicago’s South Side, and his journey reflects the story of so many in our community. He started by mopping hospital floors as a union janitor, learned the trades as a carpenter, and built a construction firm that hired workers from the same blocks where he grew up.
In the State Senate, Willie has fought and won for working families by banning toxic food additives, expanding union apprenticeships, and ensuring every person coming home from prison leaves with a state ID and a fair shot at rebuilding their life.
A devoted husband to Brittany and father of six, Willie is a relentless advocate for everyday people, ready to take South Side grit, hard-earned wisdom, and commonsense progress to Washington.
